I love creating and sharing fantastic ideas, wonderful stories and good writing. Most days I work as a copywriter, but I also dream up websites, design services and share my knowledge as a trainer – in both Finnish and English. I have just finished maternity leave, and am currently making my comeback into the creative scene – this time as an entrepreneur.
My company MAVRO! offers services in creative writing and copywriting as well as concept & service design (New website coming soon!). MAVRO! is located in Grundlage, a creative hub in the centre of Turku. Grundlage is home to 20 creative companies ranging from photography to digital design, fashion to advertising, film production to interior design. This network enables close knit collaboration to create just about any kind of product, concept, campaign or event one can imagine.
I’m used to working hard and having several jobs at once. In addition to being a creative, I have a lot of experience with teamwork and customer services (that builds character, trust me). My years as an entrepreneur have helped me understand the business-side of things. Also, I’ve had tons of fun jobs. Lucky me.
I’m interested in a lot of things and love learning. I suppose that’s why advertising has been a good fit for me. Digitalization, service design and sustainable development are themes that excite me; I’m also passionate about the arts, language, writing, cuisine, kids and culture in general.
On my spare time I enjoy great movies and TV, art, cuisine, yoga and DIY. I was born and raised in Helsinki, I’ve spent some time in Greece and England, and I currently live in Turku.

I am a trained barista and I have an alcohol pass and a hygiene pass. In other words I can make a mean cappuccino and I’m allowed to prepare and serve food and alcoholic beverages in Finland.
Finnish – Native
English – Excellent! I’ve been speaking English since I was two, attended The English School (from preschool to high school), studied English in Uni and lived in England for half a year.
Swedish – Satisfactory, I understand quite a bit but I’ll probably embarrass myself trying to speak or write.
French – Basic
Greek – Even more basic
